Got paid to cut in line

Thursday night, one of my mentors posted this in his private group…

“Hey everybody, I just wrote a 19 page eBook about [some exciting topic]. I’m going to sell it for $13 tomorrow, but if you want to help proofread it and leave a review I’ll let you buy it for $7.”

I instantly sent him $7.

He sent me the eBook.

A moment later, a grin crept across my face.

I’d just PAID him $7 to do a service I normally CHARGE people hundreds of dollars for.

(He’s good. This is why I allow him to be one of my mentors.)

The underlying principle will serve you well, if you can figure out how to do it.

Flipping the script.

Finding ways to turn expenses into profit centers.

Finding ways to have service providers PAY YOU for the privilege of working with you.

Stuff like that.

I’m still a novice, but I did something fun yesterday.

Maybe you saw it?

Yesterday’s email contained an ad for something called PROXY.

It’s basically an AI powered cross between a virtual assistant and Zapier.

I was excited to sign up myself.

Anyways, I stuck the ad into yesterdays email, and will get paid $2.40 for every single click.

But I also hopped onto the PROXY wait list.

And noticed they have a “wait list referral program.”

If someone on the wait list refers new people, they get to move up the wait list faster.

I shared my link with a few friends.

I also shared the link in my private Facebook group for secret copywriting and marketing intel.

I also edited the web version of yesterday’s email, replacing the ad with my referral link.

As a result, I’ve already moved from #4767 in line all the way up to #64

While also making a couple bucks from those link clicks.

Y’all helped me to get paid to cut in line.
