If I help you with this, you’ll fail

I can’t help the people who need me most:

No traffic.

No sales.

No money.

No time.

Not fair. I know.

But you see, I do multiplication.

Turning 1 into 10.

And 10 into 100.

But when we’re starting at 0, any attempt to multiply brings us right back to 0.

Because before we multiply, we need to add.

To get from 0 to 1 or more.

I can’t do that for anyone.

And not from lack of wanting.

Have you ever heard about how butterflies emerge from their cocoon?

They must fight and struggle,

To tear it open and emerge.

And if you try to help it,

By cutting the cocoon yourself,

The butterfly will die.

It’s wings will lack the strength to fly. And it will starve to death.

The struggle of getting out of the cocoon is a requirement of survival.

There’s plenty of instruction,

From myself and others,

About getting from 0 to 1.

But no one should do it for you.

If they do, you’ll be dependent on them for your ongoing survival.

Bad situation to be in.

Even so, I want to help.

I want to show people how to get from 0 to 1, but they must then do it themselves.

Once they’re at 1 or more, then we can have some fun together.

(This week, I’m helping someone tweak their email automations that will add at least $100,000 to their business by the end of the year. But my magic only works because they fought like hell to break out of their cocoon a few years ago.)

For anyone who feels like they are stuck at 0, I’m creating an easily digestible but comprehensive guide to get from 0 to 1.

It will be a series of bite-sized lessons delivered one at a time through email.

One small piece to learn and implement each day,

Making the conclusion inevitable.

P.S. I hate that I used a butterfly analogy. Feels very lame, but it was the best one to illustrate the point.
