I made $0 from a Shopify store

Hey there,

Ever have one of those moments where you think you're a genius...

...and then reality smacks you right in the face?

Yeah. I had one of those about 10 years ago.

See, I'd been making decent money selling random stuff on Amazon. White label products from China. Random knick-knacks, the opposite of what I’d recommend nowadays.

Nothing cohesive. No brand. Just... stuff.

And I thought: "Hey, if I can sell this junk on Amazon, why not cut out the middleman?"

So I spent a weekend building a Shopify store. Stayed up until 4 AM getting everything just right.

The product photos looked good. The descriptions were solid. The checkout process was smooth.

I hit publish and waited for the sales to roll in.

And waited.

And waited some more.

Crickets.

Turns out, I had missed something kinda important.

Traffic.

As in... how do you get actual human beings to FIND your website?

Amazon has the customers. My random Shopify store? Not so much.

It was like throwing a party and forgetting to send out invitations.

I had built it. But they did not come.

Here's the hard truth I learned that day: You can have the greatest product in the world (or even a random collection of crap), but if you can't get it in front of the right people, you're dead in the water.

No visibility = no sales. Period.
