My $1M secret weapon

you can copy

“Oh look, Greg decided to send an email this month.”

I know, I know, I’ve been away for a while.

I promise, it’s for good reason.

(I’m choosing not to insert the screenshot here, but if you want to see my Shopify dash showing $49,070.47 in sales in the last 30 days, just reply and I’ll oblige.)

I’m personally packing and shipping between 40 and 70 orders per day. My kids are back in school, so my pool of cheap labor has dried up.

I’m reaching out to 3PL’s to outsource this fulfillment stuff soon (maybe I waited too long?), but in the meantime I’m swamped.

But before I forget, I wanted to share something very helpful and important with you. Something that has helped me scale this little project from less than $10k/ month in January to pacing $50k/ month in August. (We’re headed to at least $100k/ month by the end of the year, mark my words.)

It’s been my secret weapon to rapid scaling:

It’s my trick for launching new products with a lead time of 7 days from idea to prototype.

It’s my ace-up-the-sleeve for ensuring average profit margins of 80% - 90%.

It’s my method for never running out of cash, making sure inventory and ads are always fully funded.

It’s my solution to never going out of stock during a sales surge.

Sounds valuable, right?

“Oh great, here he goes again teasing something cool, then getting me all hot and bothered then ghosting right before the climax.”

Like I said, I apologize for neglecting you these last several months.

So this time, I’m sharing my value with you for free.

Peace offering?

Here’s the reveal-

What if there were an assortment of products that could be created quickly, cheaply, and have lead times of 5 days from order to arrival?

That’s what I discovered this year.

Drumroll…

It’s merch, baby.

But not the low-margin “print on demand” stuff.

I’ve got a manufacturer that can print things like vinyl stickers, fridge magnets, and keychains…

5-7 day turn time from order to arrival.

And my average markup on these is 8-12x cost of goods.

If I’m about to run out of stock?

I click the “keep selling when out of stock” button in my Shopify dash and keep taking orders and money.

The new shipment arrives 6 days later, and I madly ship out all the pending orders.

(I get a few “where’s my stuff” emails, but a surprisingly low number.)

Now you really need to know your person in order to create stickers that they’ll pay $3-$5 each, by the thousands. Something that lets them show off who they are.

Do it right, and these are items that sell great by themselves, while also getting “upsold” onto other products all the time.

My top 2 have added $50k in revenue to my top line this year, at a 90% gross margin.

Now look, I can’t help you create the “perfect” $50k sticker for your brand. (Hint- it won’t be your company logo. No one cares about your stupid logo other than you.)

But I can point you towards the manufacturer I’ve used.

They have a large variety of products they can make, but I recommend starting with stickers.

(People love these things. They stick them on their Yeti’s and Stanleys, on their MacBooks, on their phones, you name it).

Curious?

Here’s a link to check them out, with an embedded affiliate code.

(If you end up placing an order from them, TIA. You just paid for 20 minutes of my Meta ads.)

Now I hope this is valuable to you. But to be honest, it’s more valuable for Shopify sellers who can take advantage of upsells, bundles, and “keep selling while out of stock.” It could still be helpful to Amazon sellers, but less so.

Alright, gotta go.

As of right now, I have 102 orders to pack and ship today.

Peace,

Greg
