I spent the last few years building up an immunity...

one of the deadlier poisons known to entrepreneurs

Presented by

Getting in the writing mood…

It’s pretty important when you make a living by writing stuff, right?

I could tell you about my boring morning routine, or the brain supplements I take, or the mood music I listen to…

(Except I already did last month.)

But one thing I don’t think I’ve mentioned before is how I feed my idea pipeline.

How do I always have a topic to write about, several times per week?

The answer is something potentially dangerous.

If misused, this information could harm you, just like caffeine.

But when used correctly, it is a powerful source of creative energy, just like caffeine.

Several times per week, I intentionally ingest the thing we entrepreneurs are supposed to avoid or ignore.

New Information.

i.e., shiny objects.

I read books. I watch videos. I consume courses.

You see, I spent the last few years building up an immunity to New Information.

Inconceivable, you say?

It can be done, but you must be careful.

Find ways to sample new information appetizers, being extremely selective about what you choose to deep dive into.

Later, I’ll share all of my tool recommendations, but today I wanted to mention Growth Daily.

It’s a 5-minute sized marketing appetizer.

Skim the daily newsletter to plant some seeds, then choose what to water later.

This is the kind of thing I use to feed the idea engine.

See what they have to say about themselves:
